Max Goodchild
Max studied Fine Art in Liverpool and Bristol. His current work explores the possibilities of traditional art practice through the language of abstraction. His work pays reference to the tradition of painting as well as everyday experiences while remaining abstract and very much about the material qualities of painting.
Even as his paintings exclusively explore colour and composition with no intention of representation, they nevertheless sometimes seem to suggest a still life or landscape or, as in music, a particular mood.
He has exhibited in London and many parts of the UK.
