Ken Maycock

Ken tries to paint from direct observation and rarely makes any preparatory drawings - all of his 'drawing' goes into each painting.

He studied at the Slade School of Art, London, and won prizes for his work including the Thomas Monnington Prize and the Boise Travelling Scholarship.

He taught art and painting at Dulwich College for more than thirty years and recently began painting full time.
